How to Become a Member

The BCDS is a friendly group who share a general interest in Charles Dickens, his work, life and times. There are a wide variety of activities on offer for a modest annual subscription of £20.00 - September to September. (If you join at any other time, this modest subscription will take your membership up to the September following your joining date).


Members enjoy unlimited free entry to the Charles Dickens Museum (48 Doughty Street, London WC1N 2LF . The museum is open Mon-Sat 10.00 to 17.00 and Sunday 11.00 to 17.00).


Members can subscribe to “The Dickensian”, which is published three times a year, at £20.00 for members.
